Early Career

To pursue a career in acting, young Drew Roy moved to Los Angeles. He had moved soon after graduation, along with five friends who were in a band. Before fame, he got by as a candy seller at Los Angeles Lakers games.

He did land minor roles in movies such as Curse of Pirate Death and Blink. His debut role on TV was in the series Greek as an Omega Chi pledge. This was followed by a role in the series iCarly. In 2011, he was cast as Hal Mason, the leading role in the TV series Falling Skies. The series ended in 2015.
