Early days
Kelsea Ballerini started attending dancing classes when she was three years old and danced until she was 13 years old. As he got into singing and songwriting, she wrote her first song at 12, which was for her mother. And three years later, Ballerini moved to Nashville, Tennessee.
By the age of 19, Kelsea Ballerini had landed a contract with Black River Entertainment. Through the label, her debut single Love Me Like You Mean It was released in late 2014, followed by a self-titled extended play (EP) in November 2014.

Since 2015
Kelsea Ballerini’s debut album, The First Time, was released on May 19, 2015. The album’s single Love Me Like You Mean It reached number one on the Billboard Country Airplay, and the single Dibs reached the top of the Country Airplay chart. The album itself was certified gold by the RIAA.
Her second studio album, Unapologetically, was released in November 2017. Kelsea Ballerini joined the fifteenth season of The Voice in the fall of 2018 as a coach. In March 2019, she became a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
In April 2019, Ballerini embarked on the Miss Me More Tour. Previously, she had two tours: The First Time Tour (2016) and The Unapologetically Tour (2018). And in June 2019, she had an appearance on the show Songland.
