Buzz Williams is a basketball coach by profession and an American by nationality. He is currently the head coach at Texas A&M University.

Buzz Williams’ birth occurred on September 1, 1972, in Greenville, Texas, USA. He was born Brent Langdon Williams. His mother, who worked as a teacher, and his father, an engineer, divorced when he was a child.
Growing up, he lived with his mother in Celina, Texas, and later moved in with his father in Van Alstyne, Texas. He played high school basketball but was not very good at it. So, instead, he learned from the school’s football coaches. He has not shared anything about his siblings.

Buzz Williams went on to study at Oklahoma City University and graduated from the same in 1994 with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology. He also attended Texas A&M University–Kingsville to earn a master’s degree in kinesiology, graduating in 2000.

Buzz Williams – Girlfriend, Wife, Children, Divorce
On June 10, 2000, Buzz Williams married his longtime girlfriend, Corey Norman. The couple has welcomed four children together- two sons, Calvin Williams and Mason Williams, and two daughters, Addyson Williams and Zera Williams.
There has been no news of divorce surrounding the pair.

Buzz Williams – Career
Buzz Williams started his career as a football coach in 1994. He was employed at Texas–Arlington as an assistant coach, a position he held until 1998. From 1998 to 1999, he worked as an assistant coach at Texas A&M–Kingsville.
This was followed by an assistantship at Northwestern State (1999-2000), Colorado State (2000-2004), Texas A&M (2004-2006), and New Orleans (2006-2007).
In 2007, Buzz Williams was named the assistant coach for the Marquette Golden Eagles for a year. In 2008, he was promoted to head coach and worked in the same post until 2014. In 2014, he joined the Virginia Tech men’s basketball team, working there until March 2019.
On April 3, 2019, it was announced that Buzz Williams would be leaving Virginia Tech to work as the head coach for Texas A&M.
